Hey guys,
Going to a B & B in Iowa tomorrow and want to bring a pistol.

I was planning on transporting in a case in my trunk with no magazine in the gun, but with the magazine loaded in the case.  This is ok in IL, but I can't find a real answer on Iowa.  

Is this legal?

Perfectly legal in Iowa now.
The law was recently changed or clarified to allow this.
