Fellow members; We are less than 36 hours from the polls closing tomorrow. If you want a fellow member, shooter, veteran and pilot running against Boswell this fall, get out and vote "Funk" tomorrow.
Thanks! Dave Funk www.CongressNeedsFunk.com |

I put one in for you Dave; however, I have one question about the GOP website that you may or may not be able to help me with.
I spent some time going through all of the candidates using Iowa's GOP website. Before walking in to vote, I knew who was going to be on the ballot with one exception: my state senator for district 31. According to the GOP website, both senate district 31 and representative district 62 had no candidates. However, upon obtaining the ballot Dave Leach was listed as a candidate for senate district 31. Here is what I am talking about: http://www.iowagop.org/site/c.ruIWKbMYIvF/b.5728511/k.BD83/Senate.htm (I'm getting to the question... finally) You may or may not know this, but is there a reason the GOP would leave Dave Leach off of its website as a potential candidate only for him to be on the physical ballot for the Republican Primary? Thanks for any response you can tender. Edit: After posting the above, I contacted the Republican Party of Iowa at 515-282-8105. They had him as a candidate, but didn't know why he wasn't on their website as well. There is no reason to respond to the above question unless you have some extra insight. Just make sure you get the billing you need from them in order to get your name out there! |
