| How much is everyone suppose to get? We are suppose to get 16" to 20" |
|
Where are you?
I live in Rockford. Not sure how much but meteorologist on KIMT last night cautioned folks to take the big number with a grain of salt. If all the precip were snow, we might get the huge numbers but with freezing drizzle and out right rain, the amount of snow accumulation might be more like 6". I myself would like the 15"-20". |

I don't know for sure here in east central Iowa. Right now and into at least tomorrow we are suppose to see mostly rain and some freezing rain, 2" isn't out of the question. The river is now slated to flood. Supposed to come up 5.3' as forecast right now. That will put it in my backyard. Maybe I will get some trigger time on icebergs.
Then by Friday it is supposed to change into snow but have no idea how much at this point. |
| Here in Waterloo they're saying about an inch of rain and then turning to freezing rain then snow. Yippee. Some people in the area had lost power last night because of the freezing rain. Just a light drizzle right now. If this turns to ice, we'll be up shit creek. They'll be even more downed power lines. |

Thought I would show you guys what we are getting, There won't be any cheese dogs for awhile now http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/vv347/waddler07/snow.jpg Too bad for you. I have some Sirloin steaks that I need to grill before the rain starts up again. But even when it does snow I just shovel to the grill, clean it off and grill away. I am a little less enthusiastic in rain. |
Suppose to pick up again this afternoon
