Other than it is virtually impossible to get NFA items (full auto, short barrel or suppressors) as a private citizen in Iowa not much. Since the 1994 Federal AWB expired on 9/14/2004, there are no longer any restrictions on magazine capacity or "evil" features like pistol grips, flash supressors, bayonet lugs, etc. |

what is a "short barrel". like whats the shortest you can go with out needing that stamp?
and whats the difference between a 16 and a 20" barrel. besides 4" and are they legal to shoot cotes with in iowa. i no there not legal for anything else in iowa, but as far i can understand the dnr regs, is that basically if you see it you can shoot it with whatevers next to you. |

Federal law says 16 inch is the shortest, Iowa code mirrors that. And yes, you can use just about anything you want on 'yotes. Lots of them around. Not unusual for us to get one deer hunting every year. yeah i usaully take a few during bow season. but the last few years, there getting bad on this land. so i wanna go out and do some population management after deer season. try and let as many fawns survive as possible |
