I'll be in Ankeny and Des Moines for about 4 days anybody want to take me out shooting hehe  I'll be there on Thursday and fly out on Monday. |
Unfortunately I'm still in Iraq otherwise I'd be game to go shooting. You'll be in my old stomping grounds as I went to school in Ankeny. What are you going to be doing in town for those 4 days? Check out a thread from a few days ago that another visitor wanted to know where to eat and nightlife to see in the Des Moines area if you're interested in eating and  during those 4 days.I can't speak for anyone else back there but if anyone will be shooting while you're in town I'm confident they'll be in touch with you and will show you some good old Iowegian hospitality. If you have any questions feel free to ask as someone will know the answer...my .02 will be on Septic to answer any question you have as long as it's not about global warming because 4 days is not enough time to do so.

i have all the answers. even answers to those questions that have yet to be asked. ok, that was a bit over-the-top... if i can help i certainly will. i'd invite you to my personal range, but if the weather cooperates i'll have a hoe out there building my new 50 yard carbine/pistol range. if i get done with that, i'm helping a guy build a deck.  chances are neither will get done. my rifle range is in pretty good shape, but i just put down 49,000 pounds of limestone slabs as a walkway from the upper deck to the lower, so there is dirt and mud everywhere... sorry. this place will be nice when i'm done, but a constant state of construction is getting a bit old. what times of the day are you going to be free? |
I should be done with work tomorrow (2 hours worth of work  , but they need to be done) and will have 3 days to play or do whatever. Wife is coming with me but, I will let her loose with her old friends (probably shopping at the damn Town Center  ). I just want to hangout with my ARFCOM brethens that's all
