"i broke my collar bone, seperated my shoulder, and mangled my hands 4 wheeling sunday... went through the ice on the river. cold... it'll put me back a couple of weeks, as i need both hands to do the rest of the rifle work... sorry for the delay guys. i wanted to provide some info before now, but... either way, the howa is a fine piece imo. check out my tacked thread and take some lomg looks at all of the actions. that should give you a beginning anyway. -st13" you alright man? i wish you a speedy recovery. glad that it wasnt worse. bb |
| Holy shit! Hope you heal up quick, septic. Those quads can be mean little buggers. Glad someone was there to pull you out of the drink, that must have been some scary shit hock.gif. |

Septic, take this seriously please: I had a similar but somewhat less severe injury as a kid. It changed my sholder mechanics and ultametely affected my spine due to the unever use. As a result at 40 years old I am slightly handicapped. I miss lots of work on rainly days and due to Dr, chiro etc visits. Anyway, as you are healing ask about physical theripy if you Dr does not suggest it. You must get your full range of motion back and be able to use it. You must also be sure the collar bone heals full seated in its sockets. This may seem obvios, but I didn't get it. I have encountered other folks with bad sholders due to a broken collar bone so please be careful to heal fully. |

thanks all! i'm sore, but ok. more worried about wifey... they thought she was having an aortic anurism monday, but it turned out 2 be a gall infection. she's in rough shape, so they're going 2 take it out. a quick prayer for her wouldn't hurt. thanks again! can't type so well, so i'll probably not be around much 4 a bit. the pain meds make me sick so i don't take them. suppose i should get drunk... glad we had the build day when we did... |

Take care of that shoulder while it is healing or you will pay for it in later years. I know how gall bladder problems can be. Had gall stones and the attacks from them can be bad. Had one before I had mine out the took me OOC for 1 1/2 hrs. Scared the shit out of me. If the wife has laparoscopic surgery it shouldn't be too bad. It took me 3-4 days to start functioning half way decent. Just mostly stiff and sore. After that each day gets better and better. I can say this, I couldn't believe how much better I felt, overall, immediately after the surgery. Good luck to both of you. |
That's hilarious!

I don't care who you are. That there is funny. |
Thanks Booger, just got this vision in my head, now I need to see a professional for help Both of you get well soon! |
