Ive searched the net for  info on SD CCW but was hoping someone on the ground there could give me a quick rundown of how it works there. Here in Mo we have a pretty strong law but I realize not all states are so lucky. One thing specifically I'm concerned with are no gun signs. Is it a criminal penalty if you do not obey them? Here they pretty much mean nothing. Some states it's a criminal offense to ignore them.

Also if anyone wants to point me in the direction of some prairie dog shooting I'd gladly accept that as well!!!

No gun signs don't mean anything and carry no weight of law. You can ignore them, barring places you're not allowed to carry by law like jails, courthouses, etc. If found to be carrying, you can be asked to leave. If you refuse, you can be arrested for criminal trespass after notice.

Awesome, that is similar to the Missouri law only it's a $100 ticket here instead of being arrested for trespass.  I don't frequent places with no gun signs but sometimes while on vacation you have no choice.
