To eat I would go to the Colonial House on Mount Rushmore Road. To drink depends on what you are into, but Sally O' Malleys is good

If you like good beer go to the Ale House on Saint Joseph across from the brass rail bar.  Its fairly new but they have awesome beer on tap and its pretty low key for your average downtown bar.  Go to Alpine one night for supper too.

Don't need a yuppie bar will definitely look at the Ale House and the Alpine..thanks..

Pretty good beer, wide selection. Food is so-so, was told it was really good and it was hyped up so I guess I was let down when I had some.

But go for a house beer.

Beer is decent.  Food is a little expensive IMO but it tastes good.  Haven't been in there in a while though.

Edit forgot to mention, Alpine Inn is in Hill City.

It never impressed me, I love a good beer but Ive yet to find a house brew of theirs that I would order again.
