| So I grew up in South Dakota, but now live in Washington state. I am planning a trip back to see some friends and attend a wedding August 31-September 6 in Rapid City. I want to take advantage of the trip to try to do some prairie dog hunting...I have never gone before, and there are no dogs in the western side of WA where I live. Does anybody have access to land and want to take me out dog hunting? There would be beer involved afterwards on me as payment for allowing me to tag along..Also, what are the regs these day..do I need to buy a small game license when I get there? How does it all work? Got the in's and outs from that thread...looking for more personal answers now. I need a place to shoot dogs at and preferably someone who has done it before, as I have not. I dont really want to "pay" for a guide, but beer between ARFCOMers is not paying for a guide, now is it? (Evading the logical thinking that plagues women such as my wife when it comes to paying for firearms or hunting stuff...) |
