Any ideas who will take ND?  I know ND usually goes Rep for President but this is not the usual situation.

Alot of folks are tired of the war and want it to end even if it means just packing up going home like what happened in Vietnam.  I have heard this several times in the last year.  Most of the time I hear it from people who know someone in the Army Reserve, NG or Acitve military.  People seem to forget what we are fighting for here.

Many older people will not vote for a woman who is running for higher office.  I have heard this from both older men and women.  The older folks make up a large part of the population here and take my word for it they VOTE!  They believe that women simply have no business running a country, it's a mans job.  I think this had a lot to do with Hillary not winning the primary here in ND and I have seen it happen with other female polititions in ND.

What is your view?

Legitimate people can be against the war for a variety of reasons.

When I lived in ND, I approved of the war.  I no longer buy all of this "terrorism" fear-mongering because "terrorism" is a result of extraordinarily poor United States foreign policy based on a variety of nonsense that ARFcom people have proven time again not intelligent enough to discuss.

Let's put it this way: there's a reason Ron Paul did as well as he did in ND during the primaries!  I got my parents and others back home to caucus for him!

Bottom line: the war was illegitimate from the very beginning.  I, like many others, was fooled.  My eyes now are open; I am no longer among the sheeple.

I'm finding that for people back home in ND, Chuck Baldwin from the Constitution Party is a VERY easy sell...everything you want the Republicans to be, and against the war.

Anyway, any point I've made I'd be more than willing to discuss on the IM.  Just send me a message there and I should get back to you in a day or two.

I'm pretty sure that McCain will still win.  The race is closer than normal because of McCain's positions on the farm program, ag subsidies, and the war.  However, Obama is big government and that never seems to play well here.

I assume you mean win ND. I do agree, but I am not willing to bet money on it.
