| Does any body know what the mag capacity is in North Dakota for hunting deer? I checked the proclamation and the game and fish website but got nothing. Any info would be great. It's for my AR by the way. Thanks. |

Good question... I have looked but i too have not found any restrictions on capacity. If I was going to use my AR for Deer here in ND I would probably do what I have done before.... 5 rnds in a 20. I dont think one is going to really need 20-30 rnds for deer hunting.... heck even varminting I run about 10 in the mag. one could always get a 5 or 10 rnd cap mag. They are out there... Colt made some 5 rnd ones for a bit, I think DPMS and Bush both offer ten rounders. If ya really need to clarify... call your local game warden. I'm sure he would be able to answer if there is a max cap. |

it clearly states in the proclamation that 5 is the most rounds largest capacity of rounds you can use during deer season JUST A SIDE NOTE 5 ronds in a 30 round mag is illegal unless there is some way of preventing more than 5 rounds to be inserted. there you have it |
what page and section, i've had 2 game wardens tell me that there isn't a restriction on the number of rounds during deer season. you might want to check it again, i read through the whole thing and didn't see any restrictions, but IF you NEED more than 2 you better learn how to shoot. |
true statement, you ALWAYS want to have more than necessary |
You need more than 2 because there is always rabbits and coyotes running about. I used the AK with a 30 rounder and dropped the doe on the 2nd shot. |

WELL GUYS I WAS WRONG I ADMIT IT i looked in the proclamation again and couldnt find it so i asked the local game warden, sure as shit he said that there use to be but they lifted the restriction a couple of years ago. |
