What specific recommendations are you looking for?
If you meet the statutory requirements, want to carry and can afford it, go for it. Michigan is open carry but that is heavily restricted if you don't have a CPL. |

Find a place that does CPL classes and sign up. Go sign up for CPL. Wait for mail. Get CPL. Start carrying.

I'm not sure what area you're near, but if you are near Metro Detroit I suggest Rick Ector. His class is a little more expensive than others, but I believe it's worth the premium. His website is Detroitccw.com
Just make sure to turn down your sound. I'm not sure if he fixed the volume on the guy speaking or he might have taken the speaking guy out completely. |

Southwick's in Otsego runs specials on their FB page.
Paid $60 for mine and was an educational class. Shooting at the range took forever so go with a friend to kill time with. |
