Just want to make sure I do this right.

Selling a pistol to a buddy locally that does not have his CPL (I have mine).

What forms do we need to fill out other than the RI-60?

Hot links would be appreciated.

Your buddy needs to get a purchase permit from his local PD.

Only if you have a CPL, buying from a store, mcoles, or are a dealer.

Straight from the RI060 document:

Applicability: This form can be used if the purchaser is one of the following:
• Michigan resident with a valid Michigan Concealed Pistol License (CPL);
• Federally Licensed Firearms (FFL) dealer;
• Michigan resident who purchases a pistol from an FFL dealer who has complied with the
requirements of the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS); or
• Michigan resident who is currently employed as a police officer certified by the Michigan Commission
on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES).

Heater's right. Have him head to the local PD for license to purchase a pistol, which will be an RI-10 form I believe. They will run a background check on him at the PD.

He will also have to get it notorized when he signs the back of it.
