Ok so I know this has been beat to death but can someone let me know if I did everything right.  This is my first AR pistol build.

I purchased a stripped lower and had it sent to my FFL

Went to FFL and picked up said lower.  (I have a CPL)  As far as I know, the receiver was transferred as a receiver/other

I am wanting to build the lower into a pistol so I filled out the RI60 and drop off the agency and MSP copy at my local PD

Local PD calls and says that receiver manufacturer is not listed in the computer... Ok, not my problem.  Computer won't accept "Multi" as caliber so I tell the clerk it's 5.56 or .223  The clerk asked why I put myself as the seller and the purchaser.  I explain that I am building the receiver into a pistol and believe that is how it is supposed to be done.  Ok, that's all taken care of I guess.  She then says that the receiver is not registered and wants the FFL info.  I don't know it off the top of my head, also why does she need this info?  I have to call her back because I'm driving.  I call back a few minutes later and give her the FFL info.  She says she will contact me tuesday to let me know if everything went through.

This is a fairly busy PD,  I feel like I fucked something up or my FFL did.  The whole thing is pissing me off.

Sounds good to me up until the clerk wanting the FFL info.
The PD gets the info on the RI-060, nothing more, nothing less.

How you describe your process sounds right to me.  I think the clerk became confused because the lower was not in their computer and was not sold as a pistol from the FFL.  I received an email from the MSP outlining the same process when I inquired about it a few years ago.
