Have a hunting camp in Big Bay, been going there forever, and my son lives in Marquette. Big Bay is awesome. I was planning on getting lost in the woods, north of the eagle mine, and hunting wolves this year before they set up those three hunting zones in the western UP. |

Are you going to be a freshman? NMU is awesome. I graduated in 2006 after I took a senior year victory lap (in other words 5 year grad). Quoted:

Moving up to Marquette at the end of August for college. Get ahold of me sometime and I'll buy you a steak! Are you going to be a freshman? NMU is awesome. I graduated in 2006 after I took a senior year victory lap (in other words 5 year grad). Yup! Brand new. I cannot wait! |

If you are into sprots I highly recommend joining a sports club. I played Rugby every year, probably why it took me 5 years, and those are the best memories of college I have. |

Any of you guys going to try for a wolf tag? Most definitely!!! I'm not that optimistic about actually getting one though. I read that there are only going to be 43 tags, total and that there are only three zones you can hunt them. I don't know why they are doing it this way. They should sell a bunch and just have a quota for harvest where you call the DNR to ensure the quota hasn't been meet. I also expect the humane society to buy a lot of tags decreasing the chances of anyone who might actually hunt getting one. |

So what's the best way to attempt to be one of the lucky 1200? Do you think you can buy a license at Wal Mart starting at 12:01? |

Thats pretty much my plan. If I get one I'll have to figure out where to hunt. I was thinking about that to and came up with this idea. I'm going to post an add on Craigslist asking if anyone in those areas has a problem with wolves and would like me to come and take a crack at them. I figure that will save me a little time scouting. |

I usually do good finding hunting spots by going to bars.
Make sure to post if you get a tag or not, I'll do the same. |
