Anyone have anything to report?
My can arrived at my dealer in late Dec. I sent in my Form 4/NFA Trust in January. Check hasn't been cashed yet. |

I just did a little digging, and they did get my $200.
Problem was that I was searching for a check. When I searched for the amount, it showed the $200 debit as an ACH transaction. They must've just plugged in the routing/acct numbers rather than actually cashing the check. Strange. |

I know I know I'm dreaming 'cause I sent my Form 4 two weeks ago, but they did process my check in less than 4 biz days. As for the way they handle checks, almost no checks are actually cleared as paper anymore, they are either imaged, this is where you'll see a copy of the check in your online banking application, or you'll see what they did, a check conversion of it. As stated, they simply take the MICR info (the bank routing & your account number) & the $ amount and submit it as an ACH item instead of an electronic image or paper item. Funny thing with this process is, they are in violation of the ACH operating rules because they need to inform people that they are going to do the check conversion. I haven't seen that notification, but I don't care how they process the payment, I just want my stamp. OK, that's your check processing lesson for today, there will be a quiz on it next week.

Ask whoever answers the phone you want to check the status of your Form 4, they will ask your name, the serial number, and maybe the dealer and then tell you what they know. The lady I dealt with was very nice. |
| Mine has been pending since December. From what Ive seen most are about 4-5months after pending date. Im expecting mine in May. I saw some MI guys on the Silencer Forum who had theirs recently approved and picked up. Looks like the ones that were sent in right when the opinion came out are just starting to see theirs. Looks like a late summer silencer shoot at the Pit may be in order. |

From what I've read in the suppressor forum, the examiner that handles MI, Chris Farris, is the slowest in the history of the ATF. They cashed my 1st check on 11/30, and the 2nd on 1/9. LOL! There is a Chris Farris that also works for SWFA. Maybe he's moonlighting? |

I picked these up last Thursday. They were available a week before that, but I couldn't get to my dealer.
SS Sparrow on a 22/45, and Trident-9 on a G17. We went thru 500 rds of 9mm and 1000 rds of .22 last weekend!!
ETA: Dealer says I'm another week or 2 out on my 7.62 Phantom.

Sent my first 2 form-4's in late December - cashed 01/03/12, another the middle of January - cashed 01/24/12, and one just this week.
Nothing has came back yet. I heard we have the slowest examiner the AFT has. Just what we need. I have sitting in my SOT's safe a Silercerco 22rf Sparrow, a 40 cal Osprey, a 45 cal Osprey, and a 22 cal Elite Iron Delta center fire can. Got my name on a list for the Saker when it comes out. on edit, added cashed dates |

It's been flawless so far. We went thru about 500 each of mini-mags and fed bulk pack. There was 1 malfunction, a failure to fire with the fed. We put about 50 rds of mini-mags thru my wife's P22 without issue, until the front sight fell off. 
I haven't heard back from S&W's 'legendary' customer service yet. |

A 40 cal Osprey, and a Sparrow SS. The 45 Osprey should be close. . |
| Just started mine too. Oakland county sheriff signed off, mailed it priority and should get there Fri. 6/15. Thats for a Huntertown Arms Kestrel 22. Still waiting on a Kestrel 556 to come in to the dealer, haven't started that paper work yet. Its at 3 months now. |

Had my Sparrow for a littlw while now, took about 6 months from cashed check to approved......
Great setup, definetely magnified my love for shooting, ecspecially that i can now include my 4 yeard old in on the activites, here he is shooting the M&P15-22 with teh Sparrow, and he has shot the above pistol as well, with and without muffs, and he is loving it. I pick up my Savage Mk2 from my gunsmith tomorrow that i had threaded with the Sparow threads for super silent subsonic fun.

I was in problem status yet. I called again on August 20th. It was approved on July 30th. But the form 4 was not yet mailed. I was told the approved form 4 would be at my SOT by month's end. I came in on August 31st. My SOT was going to be out of town from Sept 1st until Sept 4th. I picked up the Osprey on Sept 7th. This can took just over 7 months. Check cashed on 01/24/2012 Approved on 07/30/2012. Form 4 arrived at SOT on 08/31/2012 Picked up can on 09/07/2-12 |
