Any issues with Bears in this area ? not sure what kind of issues you are asking about but you have a potential to run into bears basically from anywhere in the upper 1/3 of the Lower Penn, including Harbor Springs area. If by issues you mean, "are there bears near harbor springs" I would say yes. J- |

What areas will you be in?
Bears tend to stay away from the town area this time of year, most of the sightings seem to be in the fall and winter. I always carry in ours and friends woods just in case, but you'll most likely have to go out of your way to find a bear. |

They're around. Last fall a deer hunter actually got mauled by one.
