Our outdoor world at Great Lakes Crossing has finally decided for good to carry reloading supplies again! They've got quite a range of bullets (Hornady, Sierra, Nosler, Barnes, some Remington, some Speer) they also have dies (RCBS, Lee, Hornady, some Lyman) presses (Lyman T-mags and Orange Crusher, Hornady LNL classic with a empty spot labeled LNL AP) a fair selection of reloading odds-n-ends including imperial sizing wax and such. Looked like they have a bit of shotgun stuff - Lee Load-alls and some MECs, plus the hulls wads and shot they've always had. They even had a lot of brass.....winchester, remington, and some nosler custom stuff. I even saw 6.5-284mm brass there. Not exactly mainstream, ya know? Prices were not great, but were not terrible either. Some things I saw were $1+tax over online prices, and if it is something you want now it makes up for it. I figure if your a smart shopper you will break even online+shipping VS outdoor + tax.

This isle of wonderment is located where the gun safes uses to be. Primers are behind the  gun counter where the rimfire ammo usually is. They stock powder but I didn't see a display for what they have.

That would be a miracle in and of itself.  The powder, wads, and shot for shot shell reloading has always been 30-50% more than competitors.

The shot is still a crappy price. I don't actually reload shot gun (yet) so I never paid close attention to the wads but even I know $49/25lb of shot is ridicules.

Their Lyman T-mag II is actually $3 cheaper than midway, their Lock'n Load AP is $18 more, their Hornady caliper attachments were $1 more, their Lyman DPS III was $30 cheaper ($249 VS Midway @ $279)

A smart shopper might be able to make themselves some good deals. And having a selection of bullets handy is great for someone like me, who always asks "What if I......" when looking at his firearms. Its nice that all the bullets are out where you can see them, unlike say, Guns Galore, where they probably have what you want but good F'ing luck finding someone to get it for you, and you can't just browse to see what you can find.

I hate to give up all the secrets, but for $30 or whatever it costs these days, one can simply get a C&R FFL and enjoy "dealer" pricing from many places.  Why waste your time buying any reloading supplies at retail or $1-3 less than retail?  Midway, Powder Valely, Grafs, and many other places offer some pretty decent discounts.

All one needs to do is learn to be a little bit patient and plan ahead when ordering.  If you're an "impulse" shopper that has to have stuff now or likes to purchase reloading supplies by the 100, they're pretty much going to be stuck buying at retail and paying the price for that convenience.
