My wife's aunt want me to hunt hogs in Michigan where she lives.  Do you have hogs in Michigan?  Would my AR be legal?

THanks!

Anyone with a vaild small game licence can shoot hogs. I have no idea if the five round mag law applies to "small game"  or just deer in the rifle zone.

Doesn't matter what time of year. If you gotta license. You can shoot hogs. Yes, your AR would be legal here.

If you need help let me know.  I would love to shoot a hog.

I know they are bad for the ecosystem or whatever, but I'm excited about wild hogs populating.  Brings varmint hunting to a much higher level.  Woodchucks have been hard to shoot around here this year since everyone has beans planted.

Five round mag capacity, shooting hours restriction, safety zone, etc. all in effect.  They want you to kill them, but won't take the gloves off and allow you the tools to do so effectively.

Shoot a hog after sunset with a centerfire AR using a 30 round mag and see what kind of fun the Possum Cops have in store for you.

Yeah, DON'T want the DNR on your ass. They will fuck up your day really quick. They can almost do anything to you, they have more power than local or state cops.

There have been quite a few sitings in Gratiot County in the Ashley area and as far north a Breckenridge. Haven't heard any on the West side of the county but I've heard talk that they will make it over this way before much longer.

I'm definitely going to be doing some hog hunting.
