My wife has been notified by e-mail that all her paper work has been received and procesed.  Her date with the gunboard is November 20,2009.  Thinking that perhaps it was a typo, I called the Clerk's office.  No typo.  I then asked about the state law requiring 45 days to issue or deny.  Response was that the gunboard is back logged.  I then contacted the MSP and got a bunch of great help.  They suggested to wait 45 days from the notification from the county(6/23/09) then apply for a temporary ccw, until the November meeting.  It took about three weeks from the date she took her paper work to the county to get her finger prints from the FBI and State of Michigan.  Trouble is ,I do not see her fitting one of the three reasons for the county to issue a temporary license.  The gunboard meets on Fridays and interview 9 applicants every fifteen minutes.  Thoughts and suggestions welcomed.
