Mi 3Gun May Class & Match Schedule

INTRO TO 3GUN CLASSES   (May 16th)
We are going to have our second introduction to 3Gun Class for those starting out or interested in getting involved. It will cover safety concerns, equipment, and actual experience shooting a real stage. Guns and Gear can be available.

3GUN RANGE OFFICERS CLASSES   (May 16th)
For those with more experience, we are going to do a 3Gun Range Officer Class for those wanting to help out with the matches and become part of our reward program. There will be Guns, Gear and Accessories given away at years end.

3GUN MATCH   (May 17th)
We will have 6 stages of Multi-Gun Fun. Included will be our Dark House, Cruiser, Helo, Breaching doors and locks. You’ll be shooting around, over and under things. And More!

CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH   (September 20th)
To finish the year with a bang! We are going to have our 3Gun Championship Match in September. Last year we had very generous sponsors. Everyone at the match walked away with at least 1 item from our prize table. The 3 top competitors in each division received a personalized plaque. The match wasn’t bad either. This year we plan to out-do last years prize table, and have even more challenging stages with more smoke, movement, explosions, and dark environment shooting. Registration Now Available!!!

All Participants MUST SIGN-IN at the website, we are only guarantying a spot if you Pre-Register. We are limited the Monthly Matches to 72 Shooters on Sunday. Registration will be open until 10:00pm Saturday Night. If your schedule changes after you sign-in and can’t make it, contact us as soon as possible, so someone else can have an opportunity.

If you are going to attend the Range Officers Class, be there ready to go at 9:00am, bring your Guns, Gear and about 30 rounds each of Rifle, Shotgun and Handgun ammo. Meet at the Learning Center. Leave All Firearms – UNLOADED AND BAGGED in Vehicles.

If you are going to attend the Introduction to 3Gun Class, be ready to go at 11:00am, bring your Guns, Gear and about 20 rounds each of Rifle, Shotgun and Handgun ammo. Meet at the Learning Center. Leave All Firearms – UNLOADED AND BAGGED in Vehicles.

If you are going to attend the 3Gun Match, Leave All Firearms – UNLOADED AND BAGGED in Vehicles. Until you sign in at the Learning Center.

We are going to try shooting a few slugs this Match. If it were me, I would want to know where they were hitting half way down a football field. You might want to brush up on your card playing rules, just in case you catch someone cheating. That never ends well! Maybe work on them different shooting positions. Always be careful what’s around the next corner, be it daylight or dark. Bring your dark shooting gear; you’ll have to save our Hostage Family in the Dark House. They didn’t do so well the last Match. Once you enter the facility you will need a light mounted on your rifle or pistol to determine Who’s Who - a hand held will be available for those using a handgun if you don’t have one.
Sign-in starts after 8:00 am
RO walk through at 9:00 am
Shooter’s meeting at 9:45 am
Shooting begins at 10:00 am
Most stages you will select which and how to use your guns
Our philosophy is to establish a problem solving scenario
These are your tools – You solve the problem
We have 6 Multi-Gun Stages this Month
The total round count for the match is a Minimum of 143 rounds – if you don’t miss
Here are the individual maximum targets available for each gun
Rifle – 90 rounds
Pistol – 130 rounds
Shotgun Birdshot – 42 rounds
Shotgun Slugs – 6 rounds Minimum and 12 Maximum
This may increase slightly once things are set up on Saturday
So bring extra ammo just in case – a really good idea
I’ll be throwing things in this year to simulate real problems
and
Challenging your ability to overcome them

If they can take the time to advertise on all the local boards, shouldn't they also post cancellation notices there too?

The email even said they knew not everyone received the email. I would be pissed if I planned my day out, drove there, and had to drive right back home.

Folks,
We are very sorry for having to cancel the Match. We tried every option to put the match on. We had 2 1/2 possible stages to accommodate 72 shooters. We sent out an email notice as early as we could. We have asked everyone to make sure they are signed up on said email list. Curt even went line by line to catch any that hadn't signed up. What more can we do? I'm assuming when you suggest that this or any forum is a better way of contacting someone, seems like a real gamble, considering it was posted on our own website. I again apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We work very hard to do these Matches, like anyone knows that runs a major program, so how about cutting us some slack. We hope to see everyone next Month, and plan to do an even better Match to make up for it. Thanks from all of us at mi3gun.

I never checked the site last night after I got home from work or I would've known. No big deal, I only live 15 minutes away. I got the email, I just hadnt checked it.

I'm not a morning person to say the least so I was just confused was all. It wouldnt be the first time I woke up early and thought it was a different day than what it actually was.

You guys put on an excellent match and there is nothing you can do about the weather. I wasn't even signed up for the match and I heard from 3-4 different people the day before the match that it was canceled, so I think you did a great job of notifying people.

I just want to make one thing clear. I think they did an excellent job of notifying everyone with the little amount of time that they had. Of the 72 people reg'd to shoot ,me and another guy were the only two that didnt get the message. I didnt get it because I never bothered to turn on my computer. I only live 15 minutes away so it didnt inconvenience me whatsoever. I think the other guy was local also.

Oooo...are those LaCrosse rubber combat boots?  Nice kit.  Those ACTS guys are locked on.  Cant wait till the June 13th match.  The May match was great, even with a little rain.
