I just got the Mk12 Mod0 upper back from PRI and it begs a question I wasn't interested in until now. Where are we at on silencers in the state of Michigan? I know they were verboten but remember some people here trying to talk to AG Cox about getting it changed. Has there been any movement on this and if not what are the chances there might be in the future? Thanks! |

We are still waiting for the AG to issue his opinion. I dont know if that will ever happen as this has taken way too long. After the full auto opinion this should have been a no brainer as silencers are covered under the same law in MI. Its a political decision at this point. When does he do it as to not either offend some of his followers if he rejects it or give the anti's something to throw in his face for his next election if he approves it. |

What would Cox be running for? A seat in Congress? He's term limited out of the AG job and DeVos is supposed to be running for Gov again as Jen is also term limited out. DeVos almost beat Jen last time plus he and his wife are both multi-billionaires so Cox doesn't have a chance at the Gov spot. |
