Rose Lake has a DNR range out on Peacock road. They don't let you have fun, though. Slow, "sight in" type shooting is all that's allowed. Try Family Shooter's Corral or Total Firearms if you want to have fun. They're pay ranges, but worth the money, especially Family Shooter's Corral. |
+1 On Flint, just keep going all the way to Lapeer, and find Roods Lake Road, rumor has it there's a small clearing in the woods just off to the side of the road called "The Pit", heavy weapons fire is heard nearly every day, including some automatic, might be worth your while to go investigate these mysterious claims.
