Around 20% turn out this election. Sad.

So hopefully, it was 100% of Arfcommers!

Hoogendyk had more votes than Levin..in fact, it looked like Dems were light in general..maybe there's hope for November if we can turn out the vote.

I voted Saturday absentee and even voted for myself as Precinct Delegate..a hotly contested race between me and myself.

Republicans got smashed in our township elections.

I did my part though...

An hour after they opened, I was No. 21.

It seemed as if only property owning white people were allowed to vote from the demographic of the limited turnout I bore witness to.

I voted Dem.  Only because of the locals i know that were running.   There were only 2 Reps on my ticket and they were both uncontested in the primaries.  Only 14% turnout in my township

All the R’s were uncontested in my district, so I did not bother.  I should have checked out the D side more closely, but really doubt any of those candidates would have impressed me.

I vote Repub, in a mainly Demorat township, while writing in my wife's name for uncontested Demo candidates.  If we "don't bother" in November, then we deserve to turn in firearms with our "warm, live hands."  Regards

If lots of us were to vote in the Dem primary we could skew the election early.  We could vote for Dem candidates that don't have a chance against the Rep or hopefully Independent candidate

Though probably effective, I am not certain if the Founding Fathers would approve of that strategy.  I know it has been done for ages.  Politics sucks.

BTW, I will definitely be voting in November.

What?  Not vote in the primary?  That's when my vote equals the power of ten!  Haven't missed a single vote in memory.  Of course, most of my guys lose :-(

I live in Macomb and we just purged some of our local @holes...  got a few pro-business, anti-bs guys in there now.  We'll keep an eye out for progress, but there's hope.

I voted. Turns out one of the voter helper people is a neighbor and lives on my cul-de-sac. Kinda cool.

Bummed the zoo thing went through. Oh well. Enjoy it, kiddies.
