| not to shure about it but i believe if you file the right ATF fourm and get approval, have it engraved, pay the $200 AOW Manufacture tax then yes.... or if you can find one AOW's have a $5 transfer tax, there are some manufactures out there but im not shure who... |

Right on. $200 if you want to do it yourself. $5 if you get one already made. But remember, you can never put a stock back on that receiver once registered as an AOW. As a pistol, if you get tired of it and want a full rifle, you can put a stock back on if you also put a 16"+ barrel on it. |
| Have to obtain and fill out a Federal Form 1, Application to make a firearm. Get it siged off by your CLEO and send it with fingerprints and $200 to ATF. Wait four months, get it back and put pistol grip on front. Do it before and you violate the law. BTW, its $5 to transfer weapon that is already an AOW, not $50, it must also be transfered on a federal form 4. |
