Ever seen anything more pathetic than the Detroit Leons? Losing to Minnesota 28-10 and threatening to score another td with 9 seconds left. Any chance we'll ever get a real football team? |
| Neighbor used Leons to me about twenty years ago. I think it fits them, as would any other name you can come up with. Usually I just read about the embarassment but gun season is over til Friday's muzzle opener, and I don't want to sit in a tree with my bow today. I decided to wrap some presents to send to my niece for the second half. |
| To which I can only say........thank god for hunting. I usually only read about them until the bow and gun seasons are over. Then I'll watch a game before muzzleloading season starts. The only constant on the team had been the Ford ownership and that is the only place I can place the blame. I may well be wrong. He does spend money on players, but the teams have been terrible for years. Go Wings! Go Tigers! Go Pistons! Go away leons. |
Spread it around all you want. My neighbor cracked me up when he used it on me the first time. Lots of folks now refer to them as the leons since I've been using it. |
