Yeah, it should be covered by my insurance, after deductable. From my insurance company's website..very cool.
Some other things..some pricey earrings, and for some unknown reason, a Nintendo 64, which makes me sure it wasn't a kid, who would have known better. I have a safe..this and a shotgun weren't in it..the shotgun had a cable lock through it and he left it. I had shot the rifle Saturday and it was in the case, and sitting on the far side of my bed..as soon as he walked into the bedroom he knew to look for guns, though, I'm guessing. Unfortunately, he got 7 full magazines with the rifle..I'd just refilled them when I got home so they'd be ready to go. Thanks a bunch, John..I think I'm all set but appreciate the offer. |

When I used to keep a .357 in my car I might have had a full speedloader with ONE cartridge loaded with a 125gr bullet on a heavily compressed load of Win 231 and magnum primer. I'm pretty careless with my handloads, but I think I kept it there to separate it from my good loads. I didn't want to mistakenly fire it off and have my gun blow up, sending hot fragments of steel into my hands and arms. That gun was never stolen, so there was never any worry. |
