So I have a video of my self @ the pit with one of my best buds who is a class 3 manufacture and we are shooting some full auto. Well I host the video on myspace. I know, I know...myspace lol. Anyways I get a comment on my video today saying this. "04/24/2007 05:42:00PM And this is the reason they wanna shut that range down cuz of clowns like you" Here is the link to the video Here is the video I don’t live in Michigan anymore. I moved to Phoenix Arizona where full auto and guns of any types are way more popular. When I go to Scottsdale Gun Club (they let you shoot full auto indoors) you would be amazed at the amount of moms with kids and teenage girls you see shooting there. But my question is do you really think it’s really my fault and people like me for the threat of the pit might be getting shut down? I feel I am a very responsible gun owner/user and I didn’t do anything wrong or illegal. I come home to Michigan all the time and I love going to the pit when I am there to shoot. So I really don’t want to be part of the reason that privilege is taken away from us. |

Well, it's pretty obvious. Since you are younger, that automatically means that your glock was converted to full auto illegally by filing the firing pin. ^^^^100% sarcasm^^^^ No one stops to think that what you are doing is 100% legal. They just assume you are doing wrong. Some fudds just think the pit should be used to target their deer rifle once a year and anything else is bad. Keep doing what you're doing and enjoy yourself! |
| I don't think FA shooting is why there has been talk of the pit being shut down. I think its mostly the fact that people let it get so trashy. I have heard that the locals aren't all that fond of tannerite, but that's another story. I have heard of quite a few machinegun shoots at the pit, so I'm pretty sure FA is ok. Just have fun and be safe. |
