| OK if I find a 6920 in another state what do I do to tranfer it to a ffl near me? How does this process work? Where around bay city can I get a dealer to do this for me? How much does this cost? I want to get this gun before the gun grabbers get back in office. Thanks. |

find an FFL local to you, call em up and see if/how much they charge for transfers AND make sure they will accept transfers from private individuals.. Have said FFL send the seller a copy (fax, snail mail email..etc) of their license. You pay they ship to the ffl you pickup from your ffl.. Done! |

Its easy. Get with a dealer near you. Get an ink signed copy of their FFL. Send it to the seller along with your payment. Or if your FFL wants he can send it (some/not many wont give you a copy of their FFL). Once the seller receives the payment and copy of FFL license, the rifle is shipped to your dealer. You go there, pay his fee ($20-$50 depending on dealer), fill out the standard firearms record form (green form), pass the backgorund check, and its yours. These guys come recommended. Pat Hansen of Midland Shooter's Supply will do a transfer for $15 each. ph 989-832-0676 I have done a dozen transfers with him. I highly recommend him. You can do a lookup of dealers in MI gunbroker.com/User/DealerNetwork.asp Pat is at the top of the list. A email link is provided. |

| I did my first transfer yesterday. Bought a lower and went to Top Gun to have them do the work. $25 per item. Went smooth although I kept getting looks from the 5+ Border agents that were there after I mentioned AR15 lower. ha ha They did take a little while to fax their FFL but thats no biggy. |
