I turn 21 soon and I was thinking about getting a SWD M11/9. The M10 looks top heavy, and the m11A1 looks front heavy, and I don't like .380 any way. I've herd allot of bad things about semi auto mac's, are the same things true for  the real ones? Any way, who in south east michigan is the most helpful with this sort of thing? I plan on buying one off of subguns.com because they seem to have the best prices.

You need to talk to Bustoff.

All of the MACS are cool and relatively inexpensive in comparison to the rest of the NFA stuff that's available. A MAC will cost you 3K-ish. All the MACs can be tricked up to be more comfortable to shoot and parts are readily available. Caliber seems to be your issue - go with the M11/9 in 9mm or the big boxy Ingram Powder Springs M-10 in either 9mm or 45 acp!

Bad photo I know, I'm not a camera guy.

My friend just got this one used from a local gun shop.  It's a Cobray CM11/nine MM.  I had to rework the trigger just a bit, the last owner shot the hell out of it and it was sticking very badly.  I am about to take it to the range to double check my work, and get some extra fun time in with it hort,
The only lesson I've learned with it is shoot good ammo and keep it wet.  I had problems with weak loads and having the upper too dry along with the trigger problem.  But, this is a $300 gun not a $3k.

If your looking for something to just have fun with then this is a great gun to get.  Otherwise, if you want to be serious about your shooting start off with a normal pistol or rifle.  Just my opinion.
