I bought a lower reciever from Quantico, to be transfered to my local FFL. When I went to pick up my Eagle Arms lower from my FFL, i expected a NICS to be run, but unless he did it after I left, there was no NICS run. Why?? Also, from what I understand, Michigan law requires that all firearms (a lower is considered a firearm, right?) must have a pamplet on firearm safety and a safety device (trigger lock, cable lock) included with the firearm. Is this different for a transfer (which is how i got my lower) than it is for a purchase? |
I would suggest going to your FFL dealer and asking him. He did the transfer and he would be the best person to provide an explanation. |
