Anyone have an update on the Advanced Munitions plant that was slated to open in 2018 vicinity Knoxville/Maryville/Alcoa?

Hadn't seen anything online.

They appear to be behind schedule.  Supposed to start const. June 2016 but as of today I don't think they have a General Contractor.  They do have an architect and an engineer.

Plant is still in the engineering phase (E2).  Originally slated to be completed Dec. 2018.

Plant is supposed to be at Louisville Rd. and Proffitt Springs Rd. on a 235 acre site in Partnership Park North in Alcoa.

Why?  You need ammo?

No, mostly just curious about their progress. The website is down and has been for a while. Seems like a pretty advanced place.
