I'm looking to build a home soon and I am leaning heavily toward ICF construction. Do any of you guys have any experience with ICF or know any builders who do this? Any info you guys can throw at me is appreciated.

Check these guys out, they are in Rock Island Tn and do great work. I would seriously consider them if I ever build.http://www.superiorwalls.com/

Superior walls is an inferior product compared to a poured ICF wall.

I started out looking at superior walls and then quickly determined ICF was what I wanted. I actually found a contractor about 45 min from my house building a ICF house and talked with him about an hour. He seems like a good guy and has good references, but this is his first total ICF home build. He has done a couple of ICF foundations prior to this. He invited me to come back next week to look at how it's coming along.  I have found several contractors with Google that are based in middle TN- southern KY  area, but was hoping someone here on ARF had some experience with them. I want to talk to several different contractors to see who would be best man for the job.

Is this a difference in design or something superior walls is doing? I'm interested for a build on down the line.

ICF is a solid re-bar enforced concrete wall from 6"-12" thick. After I saw two ICF houses still standing in Moore OK after a F5 destroyed every house in the neighborhood, I was sold. ICF is far superior to Supiorer Walls, pun intended...
