Dury's in Nashville is having what's basically a gun show for cameras this Fri & Sat. Bring in your old gear & price it, see if someone wants to buy it. Good way to thin the pile of extra tripods & such, IMO.
No, I have no connection to the store other than buying my camera gear there. My sales guy is also a shooter too, FWIW. You can even ship your gear there if you can't make it there yourself. How cool is that? http://e2.ma/message/9dxpe/hkf2ve |
Went out this morning & apparently their ad is a bit misleading. Dury's is in fact buying gently used stuff, but it's not a garage sale/gun show type where one can lay out their stuff for others to buy & so forth.
On the good news side of things, they do have a nice selection of used lenses of all shapes, sizes & prices. They're also having a 20% off sale on one name brand of camera bags & 10% off of another brand. I saved $70 on my bag! I also got a nifty Manfrotto ball head for a tripod that was both affordable & high quality in case anyone is thinking about those. One of their salesmen is a gun guy (John), so if someone is camera shopping, catch up with him & you can talk both guns & cameras. Hope this helps someone. |
