Me and the boy were walking into the corn field about 1300 on Saturday and he saw the pig, I knelt and shot her, then it turned into keystone cops with the piglets, they were running everywhere. Got three more little ones in the foray! imagine shooting a football sized target running thru a corn field at 20mph! too much fun! |

What brand of .308 AR is that and what kind of groups are you getting out of it? I've gotten the itch for an AR in .308 if the current madness ever settles down. |

Landowner exemption, landowner can name ten people on the permit to kill pigs on his land.
It's a Remington R-25, bone stock 'cept for the scope. I've only shot Hornady SST 165's thru it and it shoots 1.5-2 inch groups. Maybe when the panic dies down I'll be able to get some different ammo for it and try for some better groups. |

I was just talking to a game warden Saturday and he was telling me there was a pretty good hog population around Ramer. Good job on taking out a few! |

I imagine when it gets hot this summer the big sloughs around will be full of hogs, target rich environment FTW! |

I disagree with the new hog hunting laws. It think it is stupid to stop the hunting of hogs in TN to prevent importation of an invasive species. Punishing all for the few stupid. They should have just outlawed importing of hogs. There needs to be a no limit, year around, night and day season for hogs.
