I am stuck in Dunlap for a few days. (in-laws). Are there any good gun shops or indoor ranges in or around Chattanoga?
I have some gun money I need to burn.

The best gun shop in SE TN is Benton Shooters Supply. Hwy 411 in Polk Co., about 1 hr east of Chattanooga.

Their prices may not be the best, but their selection is 1st class, IMO. There's a decent little outdoor range just down Hwy 411 as well. Nat. Forrest Service range, only costs $5 to shoot.

Shooters Depot on Shallowford Road is decent if you dont want to drive all the way to Benton.

Thanks for the replies. I made my way to both of them. Boredom is a powerful thing.

I got to finally visit there last Thurs. Not sure about most prices but they did seem a bit cheaper on what I saw. They had several gently used S&W's, including one 617 6" bbl.

They have a pretty small shop there. Reminded me of Guns For America in Nashville, on Powell Ave.

I also went to a gun action in Cleveland on Fri. They advertised "600 guns to auction" & they seemed pretty close. No lot sales! Everything was ONE GUN AT A TIME auction. For 600 guns? Needless to say, I didn't stick around.
