| I am new here to Chattanooga and looking for some place to purchase some AR parts. Anywhere in or around the Chattanooga area that I could purchase AR parts? |
|
I was just down there a few weekends ago.
I stopped by Benton Shooters Supply in Benton. They had lots of complete ARs on hand...but not to many parts were seen. Next we stopped by Volunteer Arms in Cleveland. Lots of cool toys in this guy's shop. AR parts a plenty. Been a while since I've been there...but U may want to check out Hero-Gear. He's located on the other side of Monteagle in Winchester. This was the place for all things AR goodness. Lastly if ya feel like driving up I-24 towards Nashville...stop at exit 89 and visit The Outpost. This is the shop that Chris Barrett of Barrett Firearms runs. It is literally the MECCA of all things AR and tactical. |

In addition to those great suggestions, Shooter's Depot on Shallowford Rd, near 153 is a great gun store. |

Sportsmans warehouse has a bunch of reloading supplies and some complete guns. They have some stuff behind the counter, magpul, LPKs, grips, troy drop in rails, sights. And the store in Cleveland (Buncha Good Guys) is VOW Volunteer Ordinance Works. Got my ACOG there. You might check out "Shooters Depot" which is now Class 3. They have 3 new UZI pistols and 2 UZI rifles. and are going to be carrying cans and other stuff. Good 30ft indoor range too. Good guys there too, they actually know their stuff. Also, you can shoot your AR indoors there. Carters is a dump, and well known for their shenanigans around here. Hero Gear/Hero Guns although an hour west have some great stuff, like a candy store. Stripped lowers (spikes). Also class 3 with a large stock of AR parts and some curios/relics. Benton Shooters Supply is good to go, also a candy store. There is GT Distributors just across into Rossville GA that has police trade ins and some good AR accessories and parts. Good luck! |
