Sorry I found this too late. If you haven't squared your housing up, look at lenoir city. Vonore has grown up a bunch since I was there. But its still teeny. Lc is much bigger with more oppportunities and not much of a daily drive. Vonore is in monroe county so look for their online paper (theres no vonore paper) and (sigh) try the sweetwater topix forum for assistance. Good luck!
