Hi,

Does anyone of this board know about a 22LR revolver (7 shot) built by a company called Arms Co?  I acquired the pistol pictured below from a show this weekend. I think it may have been made in the 50’s or 60’s. On the side it says Arms Co Nashville Tennessee, Made in USA. Any information that you have would be greatly appreciated.

From a post on gunvaluesboard.com:

WELL GUYS AND GALS HERE IT IS CONFIRMATION ON THE ARMSCO OF NASHVILLE TN. I TOOK THE TIME TO CALL FREIDMAN'S ARMY NAVY SURPLUS STORE AND GET THE SCOOP. THE GUN WAS MADE IN WOODBINE TN BEHIND AN OLD FREIDMAN'S STORE IN WOODBINE BY THE ARMS CO COMPANY OF NASHVILLE OWNED AND OPERATED BY MR. FREIDMAN HIMSELF. THE GUNS WERE RUN ON SALE FROM TIME TO TIME FOR THE PRICE OF $12.00. NOW YOU CANT GET ANYMORE AMERICAN MADE THAT THAT.

Pretty rudimentary design & mfg, IMO. IOW, it looks just like someone made it in their garage on a lathe.

I can only smile when I think of them attempting this sort of thing now, given their anti-black rifle stance.
