Anyone plan on going next weekend to the Jackson show?

It was the first Jackson show I have been to in a while and probably the best show in Jackson I have seen in the 10 years or so I have been here. Lots of AR's and AK's...Ok prices for now on the AK's still high from what they were a couple years ago but looks like they are comming down from where the went to in price. Some ammo was expensive. Wolf .223 was the best price I have seen locally in a while 5-6 dollars a box of 20. not great but comming down. The find of the day for me at least was windowed Pmags (the ones the dust cover clips to the bottom for $13. Minimal Jerky and airsoft. Only a couple tables of each. There was one vendor with ladies shirts, though. It semed as if they had the junk in the back corner though. Did get to say hello to Ratsalad as he was leaving and I was entering. Sorry I did not get to speak and intoduce myself to you Mike. I saw you walk by, I believe (if your name was on your shirt and you were wearing your BFL hat, I just did not catch you and did not see you again.) Over all for Jackson I would say a good show. Still nowhere near the Bob Pope shows but this is Jackson and not Nashville. Oh and decent prices on ammo cans.

I picked up 2 of those $13 windowed P-mags myself. I was at the TFA table most of the time. The guy right next to us was a member here also. From Bartlett area with user name gsmeljr he said. He had some pretty decent ammo (556 , 7.62, and 22) I really wanted a case of the PMC 556 but didn't want to come up off the cash right now. Settled for a half case of 7.62. He also had some (rev-m) P-mags for 14.95. (I learned something. The dust cover fits both ends on the "revised- model) I bought a couple of those from him as well. I saw a couple of AKs that were $419 with others in the $450 to $500 range. I think that they are starting to come back down. I saw a few ARs in the $650 to $750 range but most were still up there around $1100 to $1250. This was one of the most crowded shows that I have seen in years. And like others have said There were a lot more vendors at this one. There were vendors set up all the way to the back wall. I met a couple of TFA members that I had not met before and talked a moderate amount of politics and gun laws, and think I made another friend or two. Met and SAW a LOT of INTERESTING people up and down those aisles. Even a couple that would qualify for the BOTD page. All in all, a good show. Glad I went. MIKE |
| I did a walk through, I didn't buy anything but got friend to finally buy some 50 bmg ammo. I am still running low from my first AR purchase. I have to show it off. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz242/RRJEEPER/1264306921.jpg:) |

When you are looking toward the back of the show from the front, they were almost if not the last table on the right side, they were on the front side of the table (so you would still be looking toward the rear. The guy only had about 6-10 on the table at the time I was there he may have had some under the table though. THey were OD green. A guy on the backside of his same table had them for 17.

| I brought my fiancée to introduce her to the world of gun shows. She had a good time, as did I. I did notice the good prices on ammo cans. I managed to get out with only 2 30cal cans and a grip pod for my RRA match carbine. There were more EBRs and AKs that I have seen in awhile. |
