I went to the RK show at the Ag Ctr in Williamson Co today, and boy was I ever disappointed.  I did a few shows 15 or so years ago at the Fairgrounds in Nashville as a dealer, but this RK show is pathetic.  I found Bill Goodman to be a horse's ass to deal with, but say whatever you will about him, he didn't allow his dealers to pack up and go home in the middle of the show.  If a show is listed to close at 4:00, then that is when it should close.  They gladly accepted full price for a half-empty show.  He should enjoy my 10.00, he won't ever get me again.

You DO know that Knob Creek was the same weekend, don't you?

Barring Knob Creek, I still thought the show promoter needs help.  If you advertise show hours, then you need to keep those hours.  I paid the same amount of money at 3:00, as did the patrons at 10:00, yet, he had allowed 1/3 of his vendors to pack up and leave.  Like I previously stated, I am no fan of Goodman, but he at least keeps his vendors on site until the show closes.

By 3pm almost all of the buyers are usually gone and most vendors have to pack up everything that didn't sell and most also have a long drive back home.

I worked the TFA table a few hours this weekend, & wasn't there Sunday at closing, but on Saturday, there were easily 1/3 of the tables empty––not sold.
We were told Sat. AM to expand to the neighboring tables.
