I went to Bass Pro today at Opry Mills to look for some rings for my new AR-10 flattop upper. I stopped at the CS desk to check in & they slapped on a trigger lock on my rifle.

I didn't tell her I had my Glock 20SF on with 46rds of 10mm JHP goodness so why was she bothering with a lock on an empty rifle?

Makes a lot of sense...especially since you could drop the trigger guard & pull the friggin' lock off!

I'm glad the world was made safer...

I know it's a lawyer thing. There's been cases where some idiot was looking at a gun & slipped a rd in & shot themselves right on the spot. Still, it makes NO sense to me at all, much like 99.99999999999% of gun control laws.
