I have been a little "out of pocket" recently and just want to make sure I fully understand - has the Bill been signed into law, and is it in effect as of today?  I justwant to make sure I am legal when carrying going forward.  (No comments regarding the past, as that is behind us )

Due to the effective date on the bill having already lapsed when the veto was overridden, it goes into effect 40 days after the override vote. The effective date will be July 14th.
