I know their is none in east TN. I called every gun store, pawn shop, or anywhere else I thought might have any and got the same answer, Sold Out.

There is plenty of them on Gunbroker if you don't mind paying 5x the cost.

..............................NO
All the old farts in the state are buying 10,000 at a time so nobody has them. The guys at my local sportsmans say these old guys come in or call and say, "when the truck comes in, call me, I will buy all you got." Ya thats fair to us 8-5 workers!
Makes me mad. I bought a new rifle and all the bullets, dies, gunpowder...everything except the freakin primers.

Sorry to hear your having this happen. If you are in the middle Tennessee area, you could try reloaders bench in Mount Juliet. But use this as a lesson also, the lesson? Buy your stock when times are good.

I got 10,000 Wolf small rifle primers from Wideners a couple of weeks ago.  Someone posted a link in the reloading forum.

you just have to bookmark all the common websites and check them a couple of times per day.

i haven't been to a gun show lately, but i bet there are some over-priced primers for sale at the gun shows.

Nope, last three gun shows didn't have any at any price. Powder which wasn't available three months ago was being sold so hopefully this "shortage" is coming to an end.

This morning at the Bass Pro in Gatlinburg there WERE 1,000 Winchester Small Pistol Primers, they were still behind the counter waiting to be put out at $2.99 a pack of 100. No Varget in stock but I picked up a pound of BenchMark and a brick on Remington Yello Jackets.
