Sorry Bimmer but Shooters has you beat on price and you don't have to pay tax, only shipping of about 15-20 bucks
http://www.shootersjax.com/modelgsg5rimfire.aspx Find an FFL to transfer it too and for a little over $500 you're ready to go ETA: I know you said you don't want to take the time transferring and all but a hundred bucks is a hundred bucks, you know? |

Yep. you are correct. Im 30 bucks more (499.00 vs. 469.00) and you have to pay tax. So: 499.00 + tax + tics= 555.00 out the door or: 469.00 + shipping (lets call it 20 bucks) + transfer fee (lets say 25.00) + tics= 524.00 out the door. HUGE savings there...
Im sure this thread will get nuked at some point anyway, but since you are so quick to suggest the guy take his money out of TN, I thought I would break the math down for you. I have over 30 of these in stock in all 3 configurations, plus the spare mags in stock ready for a customer to inspect, play with, and fondle prior to purchase. You cant do that buying over the internet. Anyway, good luck to the OP. You have many options for your purchase. Make sure you call or email Guns and Leather as well. They are good guys and normally stock these at fair prices (499.00-539.00) |

Your website says $549.00 so I assumed that is your price add tax and you're at almost $600.00 out the door. And your estimate of $524.00 sounds about right from Shooters. Thats a $76.00 savings. If you have it for $499 then I'd say thats the way to go, being that you can walk out same day with it. As far as taking money out of Tennessee... you got me there. I have and will continue to purchase online to avoid our ridiculous tax rates. I dont mind supporting Mom and Pop's or local stores, but in the end it's my wallet that is impacted by my purchase and I want to get the most for my money. Just my .02. |

Just my .02. yeah, FYI; we have rifles in stock at 499.00, and the PK version on sale at 469.00 While it may sound weird, we normally price guns on our website HIGHER than what we sell them for in the store. This is driven by the fact that we are very committed to building long term, traditional business here in TN. and are not just a bunch of bubbas selling crap out of a garage or warehouse. With 5000sqft. of showroom, we rely on the relationships we build with our customers. We dont want these customers getting upset that our prices online are cheaper than in-store. |

$555 is about the number i had expected, unless some thing locally pops up, Ill make the trip down from Cookeville to the store next week. Thanks for the info
P.S. another thing to factor in to all those prices is im driving 1.5 hours to the store, which is serious $$, however a transfer could be 5 mins from my house. |
