Howdy, and welcome! Former Memphian, live in FayCo now.  MSSA member also. There's a local ARFCOM group who get together periodically to go to gun shows, eat, shoot, etc... Sometimes MSSA, sometimes Range USA. Gimme an IM. Oh, and watch out for "Hank" a.k.a. "The Hammer" a.k.a. "New Poppa".  HKO |
| In the 70's it was CB radios, then UHF alarm reporting equipment and wireless paging in hospitals, the 80's were spent servicing & maintaining MPD's communications systems, the 90's was simulcast 800MHz system designs for public safety and utility sector and data comms for same, since 2000 its been handheld wireless device development using GPRS/Edge/UMTS, 802.11B/G, & Bluetooth. |
