Has anybody heard from Ed at www.hdps.org ? He has my USC for conversion right now. I received an email from him about 3 weeks ago, but nothing since. I've tried email and phone calls but I haven't heard anything back. I'm posting this here since he is local to you guys. I don't mind waiting, I just hope nothing bad has happened to him. when i got mine done, i could have sworn he was out of florida, not in TN. (otherwise, i would have done the transfer direct instead of through a local FFL/SOT
mine was the older version with the grease gun mags. it is FAR superior to the "top notch" stuff. (and i like those mags a lot better than the crappy HK mags anyway...they look better too) however, i don't recall him being easy to get ahold of or quick to answer emails. in fact, it felt like i waited for ever. still, my memory isn't what it used to be by coincidence, i had decided to part with my UMP conversion, which is now an SBR.
