| Question for the Memphis crew, yhe wife and I will be in town at the end of next month for a concert at the Fedex forum, does anybody know about carry issues at this venue? I have been to the pyramid but never to the new forum. We are form Jackson, any help would be appreciated. |
| I was there for the Foo Fighters show last night and the Nickelback show a few months ago. They have wand metal detectors and sometimes ask you to empty your pockets if the wand goes BBRRRRRR on something. No firearms at all. The beer is $7.00 for a 16oz. They have mixed drinks that are similar. They quit selling beer right after the main act comes on. They are nazis on no smoking. They will come after you if they see you smoking inside the venue. To smoke, you must have your ticket punched and go outside through one door. Every security guy wants to see your ticket whenever you go from level to level or outside. The acoustics are good though. It is $10 to park at most places around there. Get there early and get a close spot. Beale St is blocked off after the show to make it easier to get out. Have fun! Cops are everywhere down there. |
