If your talking about the NTPS / Sabre Defence 3-gun Challenge in Dickson, TN April 20-22 2007 it has been cancelled per Berry in the verbage below. "Do to unforeseen scheduling issues; NTPS will not be able to host a 3-Gun as earlier planned. I apologized for any inconvenience, and confusion that this may have created. Regards, Berry " I don't know of any other big 3-Gun Matches in TN. I'm still hopefull that the match will be held on another date. Mike |
Unfortunately I don’t think any 3-Gun has been officially planned at MTSC for 2007. I think they may be looking for a new 3-Gun Match Director if anyone is interested. I have volunteered to compile the scores for 2007 and continue to help design and set up stages/matches if they choose to host them. Maybe the website will be updated soon and include some 3-Gun. If I hear anymore I will let you know. There is also a Monthly 3-Gun Match in Lewisburg ~ April thru ~Oct if you are interested. |

The MTPSA 3-Gun Match in Lewisburg is one of Marshall County’s best kept secrets. It’s a small group of good ole boys some of which have been shooting together for over 20yrs. They let a few of us new guys shoot as long as we follow the rules. The rules by the way are Billy’s version of Outlaw 3-Gun rules based on IDPA type scoring (similar to MTSC). There is no website but I did talk Billy into letting me compile the scores electronically and post them HERE. You guys can send me a PM or email for more detailed information since this is almost an invitation only event and they try not to advertise. |

More Good News  Just got this .. "MTSC will be doing the 3-gun matches again this year. The first one "should be" the first Sat. in Feb. that might change. The board is meeting soon to discuss 2007 schedule. Its up to the board to set dates and all that stuff" So with a little luck it will be Feb 3rd. I hope it's warmer than last year |

Just wanted to let all the ARFCOM'ers know that it's now official. There will be a 3-gun match at Middle Tennessee Shooters Club (Manchester, TN) Saturday Feb. 3rd @ 9:00 am. 5-6 stages. Max rifle shot ~300 yards. Will need some slugs and a sling for the rifle. Ask here or see MTSC for more info. |
