I live in TN. I have a rifle for sale that another resident of TN wants to buy. Can I legally sell and ship the rifle to him, who does not have an FFL? Or do I have to ship to an FFL holder? Thanks

Too far apart to have a face to face meet? No offense, but I would want to have my $$$ in hand when I let loose of a gun, unless you know the guy?

That is easy to overcome require payment by Postal money order before you ship.

And yes you can ship a rifle in state to another state resident without going through a FFL... IF you can find someone to ship the rifle.

tis true, perfectly legal. any of the standard carriers (FredEx. brown, or USPS) should ship it for you.

It's not that hard. UPS or FedEx will ship it, just don't go to one of those wrap and ship places, go to the hub itself.
